Hi my name is Laura Cotugno and I have had my sewing business for twenty plus years.  I started doing home décor, and gradually moved into tailoring and altering clothes.  I’ve made window treatments, bedding, cushions, pillows, etc., and have also worked with three different interior designers. 

Besides altering my own clothes, two children came along and I started sewing garments and costumes for them.  That leads me to the Denver Center for the Performing Arts where I currently sew and work on costumes for touring Broadway shows. 

I’m a self-taught seamstress, although I do take classes to learn more about my craft.  I also teach classes on how to operate sewing machines, sergers and their accessories at Make It Sew.

When I’m not busy with all of that, I love making custom gifts such as hand bags, make-up bags, aprons, cook-books covers, etc. for my business, Dragon Fly Creations.
