Regardless of differences, we strive shoulder to shoulder... Teamwork can be summed up in five short words: "We believe in each other." ~Author Unknown
This business building leads group is limited to one member per each field of business. Contact us if your field of business is not currently represented and you would like to attend a meeting. When you visit the WBN you will find a highly motivated and interactive group of women who are dedicated to supporting one another.
Becoming a member:
- Check out our members to verify your industry is not currently represented.
- Contact the Membership Coordinator about your plans to visit the group.
- After your second visit, obtain an application from a member of the Board of Directtors.
- Present your application, with $75 application fee, to the Membership Coordinator.
Members need not be the owners of their own businesses, but must bear the responsibility of generating new business for the enterprise.
New members are subject to the approval of the Board of Directors and any members whose business category will be impacted by the potential member.
Where we meet:
We meet at the Doubletree Hotel located at 8773 Yates Drive in Westminster every Thursday morning. Our meeting room is directly through the back door entrance.
It is a breakfast meeting that begins promptly at 7:30am and ends at 8:45am. You will want to arrive between 7:00am and 7:15am so that you will have enough time to get your breakfast and be seated before the meeting begins.
What to expect:
Your First Visit: The overall objective of your first visit is for you to become acquainted with the members and format of our group. Since you are unable to join until your second visit, we ask that you just relax and enjoy the experience. During your first visit:
- You will have the opportunity to stand and give a 50 second "commercial" discussing your business
- You may pass around your business cards and/or brochures
- You are encouraged to meet and get to know your potential power partners (those women in the group who work with the same types of customers as you)
Your Second Visit: If you are visiting a second time, we assume you have a good feeling about the group and want to experience it one more time before making your decision on whether or not to join. You may turn in your application at this time.
A group becomes a team when each member is sure enough of himself and his contribution to praise the skills of the others. ~Norman Shidle
