Functional Art has become my passion - I love to make a statement with a piece of funiture!  An ordinary piece of furniture can become my canvas of expression, the art piece then becomes a useful part of our everyday lives.  The thing I love most about my work is the joy it brings to others. It is so rewarding to hear what an amazing difference the right piece of art can make in a room.

My Grandmother was an amazing artist and her paintings have always inspired me.  She brought her artwork into every part of her life touching everyone around her.  She taught me the importance of personal expression in everything I do.  My Father is a master-carpenter and has built some of the most beautiful furniture I have ever seen.  From the time I was very young I was in his workshop learning to pay the closest attention to detail and never take shortcuts.  I didn't always understand my Father's need for perfection, but I am so glad to have that same passion for my work today.  I have been creating and painting professionaly for almost 20 years. I love all the avenues my art has taken me down - teaching, faux finishing, wall murals, custom furniture, etc. - each has had it's own reward.  

When I am not painting, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have four beautiful children who are my absolute EVERYTHING! I want to thank my incredible husband for all the encouragement and support he gives me. He is my biggest fan and my best friend!  

I am so grateful for all of the wonderful blessings the Lord has given me, especially my artistic talent which has enriched my life beyond measure.
